Visit from Wendy!

One of my friends that I went to college with in Colorado called me on Saturday and said she was in DC for a conference, so we drove out on Sunday to see her. She hadn't seen Quintin in about 9 years (has it really been that long since I was a freshman?) and the last time I saw her I went out to Boston to meet up with a few
girlfriends and I was about 6 months pregnant with Abigail. Abby was so excited to meet her and we all had a great time going to the museums and out to lunch.

Quiet Waters

There is a park by our house called Quiet Waters. It is really nice and has a great playground.



We found out recently that it also has a place where you can rent kayaks and pedal boats, so we went out on a kayak. They are a little harder to steer than we thought- plus we had one that was out of alignment and pulled to the left and kept us going in circles!!!

Flashback Friday

It has been pretty warm up here lately. When we think about it being hot, Quintin and I always remember this picture. We had just moved to Corpus Christi from San Diego (We were staying on base waiting for our furniture to arrive) and Abigail was 4 months old. This picture says exactly what we all were feeling. It was so hot we didn't even want to move and the humidity made our hair frizzy!!

Practicing being a big sister

One of our friends recently had a baby and brought him over to our house so Abby could see him. She thought he was the greatest thing. She really liked how soft he was. She held him and touched him for about ten minutes, and then went on about her business.






I also realized that I forgot to include our ultrasound picture when I posted that we were pregnant. This is Baby Pollard at 9 weeks!
