Little ladybug is six months old!

Adrianna is six months old today! The time has really flown by. She sits up now and can spin around in a full circle when she is on her tummy- pretty soon she will be crawling around. Here she is in her cute little outfit that Lori and Connie got for her.

We're home..........

We made it home safe from Newport this morning. We packed the girls up in the car and headed home this morning at 12 am. Q did all the driving and we made it home in about 6 1/2 hours- not bad for driving through 7 states. We had so much fun and are really glad we decided to go. As you can see from the picture Abigail was passed out on the way home.

Janice's Graduation

Aren't the girls too cute in their dresses?

Taking a quick picture on my way into the tent.

The Admiral next to me is the Chief of Naval Operations, the highest ranking officer in the Navy.

Listening to some tunes and holding Mommy's cover (hat) for her!

On the way to graduation...........

Yesterday we left Annapolis to head up to Rhode Island for graduation. We ended up stopping in NYC for a few hours because it is the half-way point between Annapolis and Rhode Island. Abigail was so excited to see the statue of liberty! We also had a chance to take the girls to the World Trade Center site. The last time Quintin and I were there was shortly after 9/11, so a lot has changed.

While we were in Rhode Island we visited Q's great Aunt Dolores who lives about 20 miles from Newport. We had a great time visiting with her and we went to this cute little restaurant that had the best dessert. She and I both had strawberry shortcake, Q had carrot cake and Abby had some chocolate ice cream. She had a lot of old photos to share and we can't wait to see the rest when we move to Newport in December.

Special Visitors!

My friend Lori and her Mom visited us over the weekend from Houston. The hoped to escape the heat a little but unfortunately we had a heat wave up here so it was hot!
We took them to Baltimore's Inner Harbor and visited the aquarium. Abby was upset in the second picture because she wanted to sit in the splash zone, so she and I moved down front so the dolphins would splash us. Adrianna had fun riding in the backpack.

We went to DC on Sunday and it was record breaking heat. We battled through it and saw some monuments, museums, and went to Arlington National Cemetery.

We had a great time and hope they did too!!

Good bye "Green Machine" :(

Yesterday we purchased a new stroller for the girls. It is still a Phil and Ted's but it is the new Vibe. This was the stroller that we wanted to get when Adrianna was born but it didn't come out in time. It is better because it has more room for Abigail and we can fold the stroller with the bottom seat still attached. We posted our old stroller on Craigslist last night at 8:30 pm and we sold it this morning at 8:30 am. We were shocked that it went so quickly! We really enjoyed the "Green Machine" but it is better for the girls with more space, much softer seats, a larger sunshade, and it weighs less which is great for Quintin because he is usually the one folding it and putting it in the car.

Good bye old friend.............

Visit to Norfolk

Thursday we drove the 3.5 hours to Norfolk to visit Q's sister and brother in-law. We decided to drive down to research the area since we will be moving there next July. Q's sister always wanted to have pictures of cute kids on her doll bench so the girls struck a pose.

Abigail's Recital

Today was Abigail's recital for ballet and tap. The studio held the show at a local college's fine arts center. They had a dress rehearsal yesterday so the girls would get used to the stage, lights, and all of the distractions. Her performance was great and brought tears to her proud Mommy's eyes.

She is the third one from the left in the stage photos. We couldn't use the flash on our camera, so these pictures were the best we could get. Good thing we ordered the DVD they are making!
