Snow Day!

Saturday we woke up to a treat- lots of snow!!!!! We had so much fun playing in it. Q and Abby walked across the street to the golf course and went sledding down a hill at the 9th hole. Adrianna could only stay out for a couple of minutes because she has a cold. The only thing we didn't enjoy was shoveling the driveway- or should I say Quintin didn't enjoy because he did practically all of it himself, and that is a lot of driveway to clear. We also thought it was pretty funny that the only car that has all wheel drive was parked in the garage- so it was a little tricky to get the other ones moved so we could clear the whole driveway. Looks like we got about 7 inches of snow and it had started to sleet later in the evening on Saturday so there was a lot of ice mixed in. We were glad that we had gone out to play early! Today we went back out for some more sledding and took a second try at getting a picture of all of us. On Saturday the snow was still falling pretty hard and made it difficult to get a good shot. You can see the difference between the two!

Zhu Zhu pets!

This weekend we got the girls the best pets ever. They are called Zhu Zhu pets and they are little robot hampsters. The best part is no poop, no food, and no mess.

Out of this world breakfast!

The other day we were at William and Sonoma and they had the cutest pancake molds. They were the moon, sun, and planet. The girls loved seeing them this morning at breakfast.

Virginia Aquarium

Today we took advantage of the day off, and the nice weather, and took the girls to the aquarium. It wasn't as big as the one we were used to in Baltimore, but it was a lot of fun. We got there right when it opened and were able to beat the crowds. Abigail liked seeing all of the turtles- especially the one that had markings that made him look like he had a mustache! Adrianna liked the turtles too, but her favorite part was all of the interactive exhibits where she could push buttons! It was a fun end to a nice long weekend!

Jack is back!!

Tonight is the first two hours of the season premiere of 24!!! Just wish it didn't start so late- we are not night owls!
