A is for Adrianna

Special visitors........

This weekend we had some very special visitors.

Q's Aunt came out from California with his little cousins, who are so little anymore. Aryanna, Iman, and Yolonda. His sister Tosha was able to come over and hang out for a little bit.

We had so much fun seeing them.

We got the new Iphones!!!!!!!!

Last night we were lucky enough to be the first people to get the new Iphone.

Magnolias are blooming in the backyard.

This is one of our favorite times of year when the magnolias are in bloom. We love to go in the yard and smell them.

Abigail's test for yellow belt black stripe

We are very proud of our Abby. Today she took and passed her test for yellow belt black stripe. The final requirement in passing the test was to break a solid piece of wood. She broke the board on her first attempt. Congratulations Abby.

13 years and counting

Today we celebrated our 13th year of being married. Time has gone by so fast. I remember when we first got married eleven days after we graduated high school. It has been so much fun and we look forward to many more years together.

Change of Command

Today we went to the ship to be apart of the Change of Command ceremony onboard Janice's ship. Change of Command is basically when one captain leaves the ship and is replaced by another.

The girls haven't been able to visit Janice onboard since January because the ship in the shipyard. They always enjoy visiting the ship and getting salutes from the crew.

Abigail is growing so fast.

Our first camping trip.....

Yesterday we went camping with the girls (outside of the backyard) for the first time. We went with a bunch of friends and had a great time. We rented a popup camper and it is a lot easier than pitching a tent. We played kickball, went fishing, and had a big bonfire.

Abigail turned six today!

We took Abigail to Bush Gardens for her birthday and we all had a great time. Happy birthday Abigail.

Swim lessons for Adrianna

Adrianna has had a great time during her swim lessons. She can blow bubbles and is very comfortable, even on her back! We sing the cutesy little song in class to the tune og I'm a little teapot:
I'm a little pancake on my tummy. I'm a little pancake nice and yummy. I'm a little pancake on my tummy, just flip me over just like that!
I'm a little pancake on my back. I'm a little pancake nice and flat. I'm a little pancake on my back, just flip me over just like that!

Adrianna loves that part and she makes a good little pancake!

Trip to the Zoo

This weekend was so nice we decided to take the girls to the zoo. Spring is great- cute dresses, pretty flowers, warm weather arrives - the only downfall is all the pollen!

Easter Egg Hunt at Abigail's school.

Today was Abigail's easter egg hunt for school. She had so much fun and collected the most eggs in her class- 33! But then just to be fair they gathered all the eggs back up and everyone went home with 13! It was a fun day!

Getting ready for spring

The weather was so nice today and yesterday that the girls got to break out their spring outfits. They went to school matching each other. Q had to send me the photos of the girls on the phone to get my opinion. He does a great job getting them ready for the day.
