One month old

Adrianna turned 1 month old yesterday. She is such a wonderful baby and we all are having a great time getting to know her. She is quite stubborn and isn't taking to the bottle very well. I go to class on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings for my master's (which I finish in May- yeah!!) and she has been giving Daddy a run for his money. She takes the bottle eventually, but not without giving him a little fight. We are going to try to give her a bottle more often so hopefully she gets better with it. Abby was very picky at first too- I think we went through about 10 different bottle/nipples before we found one she liked. Abby's teachers told me that she loves talking about her little sister. What cuties!!

One of the teams we wanted to see in the Superbowl didn't make it, but Abby still had fun wearing her Daddy's San Diego Chargers jersey!



Adrianna loves her swing. Here she is making her cute little "o" face. What is it that makes all babies make this face? And check out that double chin...somebody sure loves her milk!!

Abigail's Dance Class

Last week parents were allowed to sit in on dance class. Quintin went and took some great pictures. There is going to be a recital in June, and we can't wait.

Adrianna is 2 weeks old

Adrianna's second check up was last Thursday and she is still growing like a weed. She weighed 7 lbs 14 oz and was 19.5 inches long. It is funny because she sleeps much better when she is swaddled, but she also likes to have her arms out of the blanket. So, right after you wrap her up she gives you this look like she thinks you are playing a game with her and she starts wiggling until she gets herself free. We like to call her baby Houdini because she can get out of any swaddle, no matter how snug you think it might be.

Abigail is still loving being a big sister. She always wants to snuggle and talk to "her baby." She picked out that princess sash that Adrianna is wearing in the picture at the bottom.

Don't get upset....we didn't let Abby push her around, we just put Adrianna in to take a quick picture.


Abigail got a new headband in her favorite color and was ready to go to school!

Adrianna's first check-up

We went for her newborn check this afternoon. She is doing great. She has been quite the eater, and now weighs 7 lbs. She was 6lbs 3 oz when we left the hospital on Sunday, so that is quite a weight gain. She also grew a little bit and is now 19.1 inches. Keep growin' little one!!
